I had the idea of a web-app that is one-part journal, one-part wiki, one-part calendar for managing My Plants . It could be a fun Elixir application idea Project .

one part wiki: keep track of recommended fertilizers, temperatures, soil, care guide, etc
one part journal: you have a plant, keep maintenance and picture updates in a feed here
one part calendar: you log your plant work, you can see the average time between waterings for your plants, schedule maintenance that has to happen once or twice a year, or a "make sure I fertilize at least once a month"
rss feeds for journal, ical for calendar, activitypub? elixir pwa, no app store nonsenses. this is like one elixir node, hosting the photos is the hard part, i could do a backblaze integration easily enough, i don't have to pay for bandwidth, just storage
