This is a really cool way to distribute org-mode meta
applications, and maybe eventually the Arroyo system could bootstrap with something
like this. "install Nix, execute bash ./arroyo-bootstrap.org
and you end up
inside of an Emacs with an Arroyo
configuration loaded which you can then Morph
a NixOS configuration on to
a system."
i do wonder if this orgstrap person would be open to extending it with "native Nix" support or if hacking the shebang is sufficient.
orgstrap allows Org files to describe their own requirements and define their own functionality, making them self-contained standalone computational artifacts dependent only on Emacs or other implementations of the Org Babel protocol in the future.
This file bootstraps itself to provide the tools to use orgstrap in any Org file. i do wonder if this orgstrap person would be open to extending it with "native orgstrap has a formal specification and this file contains 3 implementations that support 3 slightly different use cases along with tooling for common orgstrap workflows.
orgstrap works with all versions of Emacs since 24.4 and Org since 8.2.10.
